Artikel 136: Dispute resolution for public bodies
Disputes between public bodies shall be settled by Royal Decree unless they fall within the competence of the judiciary or decisions are referred to other bodies by Act of Parliament.
Explanation
Please note: Only the Dutch-language version of the Constitution has legal effect.
If public bodies, such as provinces, municipalities, and water boards, have a difference of opinion, it is the task of the government to resolve it, unless the law has assigned this to another authority.
